MAJOR TECHNICAL TRAINING PARTNER
Our technical training partner, Green Light Ltd, based in the United Kingdom, is a World Business partner of Airport Council International (ACI) and a member of IATA. The company is also the publisher of the Aviation Security International.
Together, Centurion Security & Safety Consults and Green Light Limited have recently conducted Training and Workshop/Seminar for the key personnel of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) as well as some notable Domestic Nigeria Airlines Operators. Prominent among the most recent training we have jointly conducted are:
- Hijack Management Training and Exercise for Air Traffic Controllers and
- Disruptive Passenger Management Training and Exercise’.
Other Training Workshops conducted in the past included;
- Multi-Agency Threat and Risk Assessment (MATRA) for FAAN at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja and Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano .
- Threat Assessment/management and Stress Management for Air Traffic Controllers .
- Conference/Seminar on Civil Aviation Security and Emerging Global Threats – 3 years after 9/11 attacks in the US – The Nigeria Response, sponsored by NCAA.
Most recently, Centurion Security & Safety Consults conducted:
- A Recruitment and selection of Aviation Security Personnel for FAAN in line with ICAO standards and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Security Programme (NCASP) 2006 - Section 9.5.7 (a-g) and 9.6 (a) and
- A Training Workshop on ‘Airport Security Screening Techniques for Addax Petroleum.
All these efforts have in no small way contributed to the awareness of Aviation Security Personnel and Stakeholders in the aviation industry on the global trends, changes and development as well as Threats and Risks notable in the Aviation Industry.
